Wow !! Thank you, Richard for this beautifully written piece on a pivital moment in our history!! You tell it true.. poignently and poetically..We, of our generation all remember the Kent State The massacre of innocent peaceful protesting students in Ohio..The National Guard were sent in to hold back the protest..but suddenly, they fired their weapons, loaded with real bullets and shot dead four of the peaceful students! ...and injured others as well! WHO gave the order to shoot?? It was an atrocity! We mourned but we have never again fully regained our right to protest! And Free speech and our right to a free press has basically been destroyed.. WHY do we have so many lying "so-called" leaders? Biden has been a hate-filled prostitute for violent power against poor and mostly black people all of his whole career..How did we allow Obama to insert this now demented bastard into the role as President?? and NOW?? what will happen next?? Millions of Americans are living on the street in abject poverty, BUT, our government is sending Billions of $$$ to Israel and is propping up a genocide in Gaza like it's NOTHING! And we are again brutalizing innocent students and teachers who are peacefully saying the quiet part out loud..That This is a genocide we have to stop it! Our Congress has just passed a law making it illegal to criticise Israel about it.. Biden is sure to sign this evil idea into Law!! When the violent arrests of these people have reached the tipping point, when will the new shootings of students begin? Where is the shame? Love you, Man!! Cassie

Yes well written. Biden has been a war monger all his life......couldn't agree more about his treatment of poor and Black people....awful human being. He could care less about the numbers of Americans who are unable to have safe housing, decent schools, feed their families or have health care, the list goes on and on.....................

The Philly police moved in on the U. of Penn encampment yesterday, destroying it and arresting students and some faculty. I went on-campus for a museum event and arrived to find the university disemboweled, both as a physical campus and as a space of intellectual exchange. Another catastrophe in the name of "keeping order."
